Rodin Study #1 by Joseph Linaschke

Statuesque

by Joseph Linaschke

This is a personal project that will be hung in a gallery this spring. I just shot last weekend and this is the first image to be processed, and it's not quite done (there's still some cleanup to happen)… but I wanted to share with you folks and get your feedback.

Ultimately I'm aiming for an image that looks more like it's of a statue than of an actual person. I'm not ready yet to share the technique I used to get this far, but I'd love to see if anyone knows or can figure it out!

With any luck funding will come through for this and I'll be hanging very large (i.e. life-size) B&W prints. If I have to fund it myself, the prints will be smaller. So, fingers crossed :)
