This photo is one of my favorites (I even have it as the feature image on my website homepage). I like it because of the 'clean' nature of it but also because it brings back memories from my first ever 'safari drive'. It was taken in Savuti within half an hour of starting our first afternoon drive and I was totally stoked to be able to get images like this at the start of my 3 week trip to Botswana. I was fortunate to see 7 leopards over the course of the trip but this was the best sighting.
I like the black and white version of this because of the contrast and soft background but its one of those rare images that also works really well in color and I have a large color print of this in my office.
I took this with a 7D and a 500mm F4 + 1.4x. ISO 640 f5.6 1/400. Edited in Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro 2.
